Remember in this post, I talked about exploring more of London, and England?

There’s beauty all around us, but most times we get desensitized by the beauty right in front of us because we see it everyday. We get eager to book that next trip, easily forgetting that there’s still so much we haven’t enjoyed in our very own backyard.

So I’m making more effort to explore more of London and bring such unique experiences to you. It’s not that I don’t adventure here, but I guess because it’s home, I never really bother to capture most of it and tell it to you in my usual fashion. Well, no more! You can expect more posts on England from me, and if they’re slow in coming, please demand them šŸ™‚ (oh you ghost readers, what will I do with you?)Ā And that leads me to another side topic- It’s no easy feat maintaining a blog like this with original and inspirational content. Your comments and shares is the least you can give. It’s free! Or perhaps you can donate here [paypal_donation_button]

Come on, buy me a cup of coffee! šŸ˜‰

Anyway, back to today’s topic. I spent last weekend at Cutty Sark. It was a beautiful sunny day, one of those rare ones we Londoners are continually banging on about. So what better way to spend it than to go exploring?

I got on the tube, and after a few changes, arrived at Cutty Sark station. As is expected with monumental sights, the area was parked with lots of people. Obviously I wasn’t the only one wanting to enjoy the fine weather.

Cutty Sark has 4 main attractions- The National Maritime Museum which is free, the Royal Observatory where you can see the PrimeĀ Meridian of the world which is home to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the Queen’s House and the Cutty Sark ship. Check out the official site for more info.

I walked round the area, it’s truly beautiful. However, I only visited theĀ National Maritime Museum and took a few pictures inside. It’s definitely one to see and I’ve been to theĀ PrimeĀ Meridian in the past and it’s also recommended if you can. It’s also got London’s only planetarium.

Travel info: Cutty Sark station is on the DLR line(towards Lewisham). Once you get off, all the attractions are within walking distance. Prepare to be enchanted šŸ™‚
