After spending the last 3 years of my life in Brighton, I decided that attending the Brighton fashion week would round off my stay nicely. Also, since I attended the London Fashion Week and African Fashion Week London, it was only obvious I paid homage to Btown.
I attended the Sustain catwalk show and the Zeitgeist catwalk show. Both shows were amazing and as much as it rained cats and dogs on the day, the weather couldn’t rain on our parade.
The Fashion show took place at the Old Ship Hotel on Kings road. There couldn’t have been a more befitting location. Well, perhaps there could be, but the decor, and visual artistry inside created a wonderful ambience and atmosphere that made ones imagination run creatively wild!
I must confess that being seated at the front row was super cool. I felt very at home, lol.
During the intermission between both shows, I was able to network with the other fashion enthusiast in attendance and gave an interview with an intern at The Argus newspaper. They had complimentary drinks, goodie bags and a mini spa. What a brilliant idea! You can never go wrong with a spa treatment my friend.
The guys from The Ethical Fashion Source who were promoting their ethical, organic and eco brand which is claimed to be the global platform for sustainable fashion.
She’s only been DJ’ing for 6 months! Can you imagine? Anything is possible I guess if you set your mind to it. It’s bout time I stop procrastinating and take some lessons.
