The Perfect Sunglasses For Your Face Shape

One of the reasons I love summer style is because I get to wear my sunnies a lot more than any other time in the year! So here’s a quick guide to help you choose the perfect sunglasses for your face shape so you can rock on too!

1. Determine your face shape

First of all, you’ll have to find out your face shape in order to begin. If you already know yours, skip to the next step.

Forehead Cheeks Chin

Heart- Wide Wide Narrow

Oval- Narrow Wide Narrow

Round- Rounded Wide Rounded

Square- Wide Wide Wide

2. Determine your style

Heart- Since the narrowest point of your face is your jawline, any frame that is wider on the top than it is on the bottom will work well.

TRY- Retro square, Cat eye or sport sunglasses

Oval- This face shape is longer than it is wide, so you can pull off round or square frames. However, be aware of proportions and try not to go too big or too small for your face.

TRY- Retro square, Aviator or Oversized sunglasses

Round- This face shape is widest across the cheek bones and narrows some at the forehead and jawline. Oversized, rectangular and angular frames will set off the roundness well.

TRY- Retro square, Cat eye or Square sunglasses

Square- This shape has a strong jaw, wide forehead and wide cheek bones. So to soften these features, choose sunglasses with soft lines or rimless edges.
